Bangladeshi student entrepreneurs have launched AgenticHire, an AI-powered hiring startup that says it has secured more than $30,000 in funding and support while gaining recognition at international startup programmes.
A group of Bangladeshi student entrepreneurs has launched AgenticHire, an AI-powered hiring startup focused on making early-stage recruitment more efficient.
According to the company, AgenticHire has secured more than $30,000 in funding and support since its launch. The startup uses AI to assist with candidate screening and other early stages of the hiring process.
One of the co-founders is Shafi Bin Sultan, a 12th-grade student at St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, who serves as the startup’s Co-founder and COO.
The company says it has received support from organisations including Prime Bank, Bank Asia, Guardian Life Insurance, Sportify, Wavesparks and Singapore’s National Youth Council.
AgenticHire has also participated in international startup programmes and events. According to the company, it placed among the Top 3 at the Young Founders Summit Demo Day in Singapore and ranked in the Top 10 among 108 teams in East Ventures’ My First $1000 programme.
With founders from six Asian countries and participation in international technology and fintech events, AgenticHire is now looking to expand its presence beyond Bangladesh and build a wider position in the global startup ecosystem.
The startup’s progress highlights the growing participation of young Bangladeshi entrepreneurs in AI-focused businesses and international startup programmes.
