Dhaka-based OpsTech startup OSS Nexus Limited has onboarded more than 175 vetted vendors in five months as it builds a centralized B2B platform to simplify procurement and operational services for businesses.
The platform is designed to simplify the way companies manage their day-to-day operational requirements. Through its live multi-tenant portal, businesses can submit their requirements, receive side-by-side quotations from vetted vendors, compare available options and select a supplier. OSS Nexus then manages the delivery process through final sign-off.
The platform currently covers more than 16 service verticals, including office supplies, HVAC, interior work, IT services, manpower, security, facilities management, logistics, catering, hospitality and transportation. Rather than requiring businesses to coordinate separately with multiple service providers, the startup aims to bring these requirements into a single operational workflow.
According to OSS Nexus, the company moved from the initial idea to live commercial operations in just 18 days. It has already handled orders across sectors including security services, education and hospitality, giving the startup early exposure to different types of business requirements.
Building a reliable vendor network is a central part of the company's model. OSS Nexus says the vendors joining its platform are vetted before being onboarded, with the network now exceeding 175 companies after its first five months of operation.
The startup has been fully bootstrapped to date and is now preparing to raise a pre-seed round from local and global institutional investors. The planned funding is expected to support the company's next phase of growth as it works to expand its platform, vendor network and business customer base.
OSS Nexus currently operates from Gulshan-2, Dhaka, while also planning to expand beyond Bangladesh. The company's longer-term ambition is to build a broader operational layer that connects businesses with vetted service providers across different markets.
For Bangladesh's startup ecosystem, OSS Nexus is entering the emerging B2B and OpsTech space, where startups are attempting to digitize traditionally fragmented business processes. Its model depends on maintaining a balance between the needs of corporate customers and the reliability and quality of its growing vendor network.
As OSS Nexus moves toward institutional fundraising and potential international expansion, its ability to scale the platform while maintaining service quality and efficient vendor coordination will be important to its next stage of growth.
